They Bought Their A-Game!
At our recent fair on July 20, 2019, these kids were not messing around. They meant business, no diggity, no doubt. There were products such as baked goods, jewelry, handmade pillows, body scrubs, bath bombs, nail polish, seasonings, and so much more. Too many to name here.
We are not accepting applications for the October 5, 2018 fair at the Downtown YMCA Youth Center. It’s a huge space and we plan to fill it up. But there is one caveat: We will be limiting the number of like projects so the earlier you apply the better your chances of getting accepted.
Why the limitation on like products? It’s really simple. At the end of every fair, we collect customer surveys and this time around we had a lot of people to say that there was not enough variety. Although they didn’t say so, this probably means that they limited the number of products purchased from vendors that were selling like products.
BOTTOM LINE: When customers speak we listen.
Our mission is to introduce kids to the concept of entrepreneurship early in life.By doing so, they begin to see expanded career opportunities that are in addition to traditional career paths.
The fair is currently held twice a year in the spring (April) and fall (October) of each year.We strive to maintain our leadership role as the ultimate children's event for young entrepreneurs across the entire Metropolitan Birmingham, AL area and beyond and we won't stop until we are a household name.
