$22 Application Fee
Fair is open to kids ages 6 to 16 years old. The fair will be on April 18, 2020, 1:00 to 4:00 at the Downtown YMCA Youth Center, 2400 7th Avenue North.
The $22 fee is an application fee and not a registration fee. Fee is per business, NOT per person and is due at the time the application is made.
We are so excited to announce that by participating in the April 18, 2020 Children’s Business Fair, you will automatically be signed up to participate in the remaining activities of the MBCFB Youth Training & Development Program (YTDP) / Southeastern Credit Union Foundation BizKids Showcase.
Between now and the April 18, 2020 fair, each activity or assignment that registered fair participants complete or participate in will earn them points. Two lucky fair participants with the most points will be eligible for 1st place cash price of $500 or 2nd place cash prize $250.
The $500 cash prize will go to the participant with the most points accumulated and awarded by activities sponsored by Southeastern Credit Union Foundation BizKids Showcase.
The $250 cash prize will go to the participant with the most points accumulated and awarded by activities sponsored by MBCFB Youth Training & Development Program (YTDP) activities.
For those that participated in the November, 2, 2019 1-Day workshop, they’ll have a running start by being awarded points for workshop. For all others, points begin accumulating the moment an applicant is accepted to the fair. If you have not applied to the April 18, 2020 Children’s Business Fair, you can click here to apply. PLEASE NOTE: In order to be a winner, not only do fair applicants have to be accepted to the fair, they must also show up and participate in the fair on April 18, 2020, 1:00 – 4:00 at the Downtown YMCA Youth Center, 2400 7th Avenue N, Birmingham, AL 35203.
Completing an application is not an automatic acceptance. There may be some questions that we have. If the child is accepted, we will send a congratulatory email accepting them into the program.
